Come and stay
Book Your Stay
You've watched us save the village… now come and stay in it.
For years, you’ve watched La Buslière slowly come back to life - on television, on YouTube and perhaps from the very beginning.
But there’s only so much of this place we can show you through a screen.
So why not come and experience it for yourself?
Hidden away at the end of a tiny no-through road in the Normandy countryside, La Buslière is our home, our enormous ongoing restoration project and, we think, a rather magical place to escape from the outside world for a while.
And now, you can stay here too.
We currently have two very different places to stay at the village - The Horsebox and The Cottage.
The Horsebox
Something a little bit different…

Our vintage Horsebox was the first guest accommodation we created at La Buslière - and has become a rather special little place in its own right.
Lovingly converted into a luxurious living and sleeping space, with solid oak flooring, French linen, a Mørso woodburner and our usual mixture of old, new, French antique and mid-century finds, the Horsebox sits within its own secluded part of the hamlet overlooking the Normandy countryside.
Just a few steps away, the old Piggery - La Porcherie - has been transformed into your own private kitchen and bathroom, with the whole area nestled around a private courtyard where you can simply sit, switch off and enjoy the peace.
And apparently we’re not the only ones who think it’s rather special…
The Horsebox is currently ranked amongst Airbnb’s Top 1% of homes, with a perfect 5.0 rating from every one of our 56 reviews.
Something we’re incredibly proud of. ❤️

The Cottage
Prefer four walls and an ancient staircase?
Then The Cottage might be for you.
One of the original cottages here at La Buslière, this is a very different way to experience the village.
Downstairs is an open-plan kitchen, dining and living space, while upstairs you’ll find the wonderfully oversized bedroom. Outside, there’s your own terrace and views across the gardens and valley beyond.
It’s old, it’s characterful and, yes, the ancient staircase occasionally reminds you just how old the building actually is!
The Cottage sleeps up to three people and is perfect for anyone wanting a little more space while still being right here, in the heart of the hamlet.
It’s also the newest addition to our guest accommodation at La Buslière - so if you’ve been following our story for a while, here’s your chance to be amongst the first to stay.

A stay that’s a little different
We should probably point out that La Buslière isn’t a finished holiday resort.
Far from it. 😂
It’s still the same once-abandoned hamlet you’ve watched us painstakingly bring back to life. Depending on when you visit, there may be a wall being pointed, a roof being rebuilt, a pile of granite waiting for its next adventure - or Yip and Paul wandering past wondering what on earth they’ve started now.
That’s all part of it.
You’ll be staying inside the project, surrounded by the buildings, gardens, views and little corners of the village that you’ve seen on screen.
So whether you’ve followed our story for years or have simply stumbled across us while looking for somewhere rather special to stay in Normandy, we’d love to welcome you to La Buslière.
Just be warned…
You may not want to leave. 🥳
Yip & Paul x
