Our YouTube channel is where you can follow the ongoing restoration of our once-abandoned French village, with a new episode every week.
From rebuilding crumbling cottages and replacing roofs to landscaping, interiors and the occasional project that turns out to be considerably bigger than we first thought, we take you along for all of it - the successes, the setbacks, the laughs and the moments when we wonder what on earth we’ve taken on.
While the television series tells the wider story of our adventure, YouTube allows us to share the restoration in much greater detail and, most importantly, as it happens. It’s a closer look at the day-to-day reality of two former landscape gardeners attempting to breathe life back into a tiny corner of rural Normandy, with a little help from some wonderful friends along the way.
Over the years, something rather unexpected has happened too. What began as a way of documenting our progress has grown into an incredible community of people from all over the world who have become genuinely invested in seeing La Buslière come back to life.
And there is still an enormous amount to do.
